I had the pleasure of working alongside and learning from Marc on the development of an innovative smartphone application that he has designed to revolutionise how hand therapy is delivered to patients following surgery. The application he has developed is easy to navigate, interactive and included a range of targeted exercises that were clear and engaging for patient use. My project was to pilot the application to hand therapists and orthopaedic surgeons which received very positive feedback. Marc was an excellent teacher during my project and was able to explain new and difficult concepts to me with ease and clarity. Marc has designed 1D and 2D conveyor systems combining with Terahertz time domain spectroscopy. The conveyor systems are able to hold carbon graphite and silver inkjet printed paper and films, which are detected by the Terahertz system to realise automatic unmanned quality control for large area manufacturing.

Marc Edwards has provided excellent and timely reactive service for Faculty of Science at University of Chester. Mark very quickly respond to ours request of making 300 samples for tensile tester. All samples had to be laser cut from large sheet of acrylic and nylon. After we provide CAD drawing the communication where excellent and we receive the final product in less than 48 hours. The service Mark provided was very good as the final finish on the product and its dimension.
